Thinking in Autumn Colours 

There are a few more post from Alex’s story, but at the verge of Christmas Eve I’d like to make a short status update. It’s been a week now since he began swallowing all his pills, including the daily chemo medication. That is a big milestone. He’s been gradually increasing his real food intake to the point that he is now eating and swallowing everything and his feeding tube is not in use. There are still some foods that are a little problematic, and I puree them, but all in all looks good. And this is our Xmas gift. Because of omicron that has taken over we’ll celebrate alone, however this too will pass. Cheers to a better 2022.
