As part of our January 2020 trip to Morocco we traveled to the old fortified village of Aït Benhaddou and onward to the villages of Imlil and Armed (Aroumd) in the High Atlas mountains where the overnight stay was in a gîte overlooked by 4,167 metre Mt. Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco, North Africa and the Arab world.
